The Molchanovs SPORT Bifins Blades 3 Carbon are for freedivers who want lightweight and reactive premium carbon fiber for training, teaching, and fun diving in the pool and open water. Updates include an improved blade-layering pattern for more efficient finning, size-graded stiffness for balance, and a new minimalistic design. Blades can be paired with standard-size SPORT Silicone Foot Pockets and can easily be disassembled for travel or swapped out for fiberglass blades.
Easy assembly
Assembling foot pockets to the blades takes only minutes, making it easier than ever to switch to a new pair of foot pockets or upgrade to a new blade.
High-end carbon fiber
100% premium carbon fiber blades provide exceptional performance with a featherlight feel in the water and more spring with each kick. While carbon fiber blades are lighter than fiberglass blades, they also require special care due to their delicate nature.
Updated blade-layering pattern
Carbon blades are consistently fine-tuned according to the feedback of top athletes who use them in their deep diving sessions. The layering near the foot pocket is now slightly thicker, giving a touch of extra power with each kick.
Size-graded stiffness
Blade sizes now vary with stiffness so that length matches resistance. Soft blades are a little shorter for added maneuverability, while stiffer blades are longer for more balanced propulsion.
Minimalistic design
The new design is sporty and fierce while keeping the signature Molchanovs minimalism and style. Carbon blades are black - choose from 6 bold accent colors. -

Materials required for assembly
Please note that the SPORT Bifins 3 Fiberglass Blades are sold independently and do not come with a mounting system. The mounting system is exclusively provided with the SPORT Silicone Foot Pockets.- Molchanovs left and right carbon blades
- Left and right SPORT Silicone Foot Pockets
- 2 screws for each foot pocket (4 total)
- Upper and lower mounting plates
- Phillips head screwdriver
Assembly instructions
- Match the left and right foot pocket with the corresponding blade (marked on the back side of each blade).
- Insert the blade gently into the slot at the front of the foot pocket and through the side reinforcements, verifying it is inserted correctly and slides in smoothly without force.
- Align the blade by carefully adjusting its position until the blade’s mounting holes match with those on the foot pocket.
- Position the upper mounting plate over the toe section of the foot pocket, verifying it fits into the provided space.
- Begin hand-threading the screws into the holes of the lower mounting plate.
- Place the lower mounting plate over the blade, aligning it with the upper mounting plate and the holes. Tighten the screws in a clockwise direction using a Phillips head screwdriver with an even distribution of pressure.
- CAUTION: Secure the screws firmly, but avoid over-tightening which could strip the threads or damage the blade. Stop when you feel moderate resistance.
